EPISODE 32 Why I'm Republican and Love Welcoming Refugees
The midterm elections are November 3rd, and some of you have asked me the same question: Jeannie, how can you be a Republican when you talk so much about welcoming refugees? In this episode I answer it, honestly and kindly.
I share four reasons I vote the way I do, where I disagree with my own party, and why I believe the answer for our international neighbors, whichever way you vote, is friendship and the gospel. Most podcasters never say who they vote for. But you asked, and I would rather talk it through with you than leave you guessing. My hope is a conversation, not an argument.
