My Review of Kajabi

Yes! Just make sure you sign up for Kajabi with the same email you used for Digital Course Academy. Amy Porterfield's free Sales Page and Webinar Registration Page and Thank You Page templates should automatically appear. If they don't, simply write Kajabi support and they will add it for you.

I recommend Canva (to create your graphics for your landing pages and Lesson Modules, your slide decks for your lessons, create your downloadable .pdf guides,get free photos, and even record your course, if you want to)

ScreenFlow (for macs) or Camtasia (for PC) is an easy video recording and editing software to record your course.

I also recommend buying a good microphone for recording your course, like a Yeti or a BluSnoball at Walmart will do just fine!

Other than that, everything you need is inside the all-in-one Kajabi and nothing costs extra:

Yes! You get what you sign up for during your TRIAL. Then you should DOWNGRADE to the lowest price plan you need. For example, the Kickstarter Plan is $69/month. This is best if you're JUST starting out and only need 1 product and you have less than 250 contacts.

If you need more products and have more than 250 contacts, I'd upgrade to the next plan which is the best plan if you have more than 3 products (2 courses and a podcast, for example) and more than 1,000 customers, with great customer service.

But if you're still creating your first product and building up your email list, you should start with the Kickstarter. This plan gives you 1 product (which you're working on, right?!) so you can build out your course structure, with a beautiful Waitlist page to share right away to collect leads...and then design a Sales Page for when you launch, and even upload recorded videos and .pdfs for your course so you're launch-ready!)

You can also house up to 250 customers (you're building your list, right?! but it takes awhile to it growing in the beginning). But you'll be able to create your landing pages for your free lead magnet to grow that list, tag your customers so you know who they are and where they came from, and send weekly emails with free content to nurture them for launch day!

Yes. This is true of any course platform you might choose. But if you want to put your Kajabi on hold because you're not selling your product for a season, you can contact them for a low Monthly fee to hold it for you.

Automation and Affiliates are part of the upgraded $199/Monthly Plan and you don't need these features until you're making money from your courses, so the extra money per month doesn't even make you blink to say yes.

You CAN tag customers right away in any plan, which is beneficial right from the beginning.
