You need a customer management platform for emails (like ConvertKit, MailChimp, Kajabi etc).

You need landing page software for your enrollment pages (like Lead Pages, Kajabi). 

And you need a place to host your Course (like Kajabi).

Yes, you see Kajabi here listed in all three places, and that's what I recommend since it's an all-in-one platform. For $69/month you can start out creating 1 course, manage up to 250 new emails, and even design your website, set up a podcast or blog, and schedule and run coaching calls.

Some DCA students in my Mastermind chose to use different applications for all three of these in free versions, which is definitely more tech and headache (but also free), so it's possible to start out this way.

Once you get your Course launched and you are making more than a few thousand dollars with a few dozen students, you will need to upgrade all of these three (and Kajabi). I pay $199 a month for everything. Totally LOW operational cost!

No problem. Amy has TWO TRACKS in DCA, one for Start From Scratch, and one for people who already have more than 250 people on your email list.

It will take you a bit longer to launch your course if you're starting from scratch, but it's step-by-step, and YOU CAN DO IT.

Great! If your Course is "validated", meaning students are paying for it, doing it, loving it but you'd like to learn how to market it more fruitfully, DCA is perfect for you too.

First, I can PROMISE you'll learn so many ways to make your Course better, to know your potential students so much better, and to improve the existing experience and results for them.

Second, you will definitely learn how to create a funnel to reach more people, in more ways. Amy's marketing is stellar. It works. What you'll learn in here (that you can adapt to your situtaion, will BLOW YOUR MIND). It's so valuable and applicable to so many areas of business.

You will also very likely find people to partner with, to exchange audiences and Bonuses in DCA. This is gold.

Yes, and no. Yes, you should because I believe in using the recipe to "bake the cake" and THEN adapting the recipe once you've got it down.

However, if you don't love emails, you don't have to write long ones (like I do!), and you don't have to write so many if you don't want to, and you can drive the emails to ways you love to communicate (like video, audio, social media, your blogs, podcasts etc etc).

This is something you'll need to wrestle through. I can help you do that. I have several frutiful cross-cultural workers who took DCA, and chose to handle security different ways.

Several don't have social media or websites, but DO have a landing page for their course. They also have a lead magnet with a freebie they promote widely through other orgs and other people's email lists and students.

Some, like me, decided to use a psuedonym and put ourselves completely in a 3-D kind of way on the web. I write and speak in a way that my international friends would be honored.

Others have courses that are not faith-oriented but are a skill they are teaching, and they are HAPPY to have an online identity that is exactly who they are and matches what they do and teach overseas.

YES. It works. It's a lot of work. But it works. I do this part-time, by the way. I DO work really hard but it's not full-time, so I still can do the non-profit, global strategy work that I love.

Plus, because the operational overhead is so low, you can take your time to get this out there. Amy does teach how to do a quick win Workshop to get back your DCA enrollment right away. But the actual Course and launching can take as long as you need to take, without cost to you (except your time).

I get it. DCA is a big financial investment.

First, I would say if God has put it on your heart to do this, don't let lack of finances stop you. Where there's a will...there's a WAY.

Second, I suggest doing the lowest payment plan you can afford (she has a 6-pay). Pay the first month, and then do the Workshop she teaches you how to do, which you can easily do, and pay off the whole enrollment! It's totally possible!

Third, contact your church or your supporters or family and friends, and raise the enrollment funds to do this. You'll be surprised how EAGER people are to see someone's dreams come true. I've had several cross-cultural workers do this!

Fourth, if you really don't have the financial means (ie. you are from a Global South country and the enrollment fee is waaaaaay out of your budget, you CAN apply for a scholarship with DCA, and Amy does give some of them out. She likes to give ones to people of diversity (women, people of color, or different nationalities etc).
