MODULE ONE:
Be Where They Are
I know exactly where most hopeful sharers of the Good News get stuck. (It's getting started!)
In this module, we're going to squash the reasons most people struggle, which are: 1. We're not hanging out where lost people live, work and play. 2. Fear keep us frozen 3. We haven't salted the area with prayer first and 4. We're not intentional with starting and nurturing new friendships.
But NOW you'll be that. strategic. person. who actually KNOWS where people from spiritually strategic countries live near you—you'll get strategies to replace your fear with courage—learn how to walk the area praying first—and you'll be a pro at flying through that first hello (even if you're not an extrovert!).

MODULE TWO:
Become More Like Them
We can build walls or bridges based on how we dress, eat, what we value, and how we spend our time. The reality is that most of us in Western cultures 1. Don't know how to dress (and eat) in non-Western cultures 2. We're way too busy 3. Are unsure how to navigate a new cultural situation well and 4. We don't understand the high value honor plays in non-Western families.
WHAT YOU GET:
- Six ways to evaluate our differences; a scripture study through Paul and Jesus' plan for "becoming like", with journaling prompts.
- Tools to start practicing five habits that will integrate outreach with our everyday life; including a Circle of Influence mapping exercise, a Calendar hack, a strategy for becoming a foodie, and six ways to practice being late.
- A cheatsheet with four tips to enter a new cultural situation with a little savvy.
- Ways to understand honor and shame, plus a worksheet to create an honor plan.
Module Three:
Use Different Language
We often get blocked in how we communicate because 1) We offer our cultural practices of Christianity and church instead of just Jesus. 2)We don't understand why we're not all Jewish followers of Jesus, and why that matters to Muslims and Hindus. 3)We don't know how to use the language of the Kingdom of God (that Jesus used most) 4)We don't know how to invite lost people into God's Kingdom 5)Our "good news" doesn't often come across as "good".
Jesus is Good News in so many more ways in addition to the cross.
WHAT YOU GET:
- An exercise to discover what is cultural and biblical about your faith practices; with a scripture study through Acts 15, and a worksheet exercise through the Gospels to see what Jesus did most (so we can do it too).
- A guided demonstration on how to use a tool called The Kingdom Circles, and a simple scripture study of the Kingdom of God through scripture.
- A demonstration of me inviting someone into the Kingdom of God, with a caution for using standard invitation prayers, and a plan to practice on your own.
- A one-page chart just-what-you-need to know about the major religions; a role model skit to practice; and a worksheet to discover all the ways Jesus is Good News to you, in addition to the cross.
Module Four:
Pray in the Moment
Experiences with God speak louder than the words you say or even what you do. How do we foster these kinds of experiences? By praying with people. But most of us 1)Can't hear God's voice 2)Don't know how to speak words of encouragement with Holy Spirit insight 3)Lack faith to pray for physical healing, and 4)Didn't know God could heal emotional trauma.
WHAT YOU GET:
- A study through scripture to understand how God speaks; a simple three-step process to practice Listening Prayer; a list of cautions so our listening isn't abused; and what to do when we can't hear the Holy Spirit's voice.
- A simple exercise, with role modeling, on how to listen to the Spirit on behalf of another for the purpose of encouragement and blessing; a one page instruction plan for doing a Group Hotseat listening time.
- A simple scripture study on physical healing in the Bible; and my own six-step model for physical healing prayer; with a journal record sheet.
- A one-hour video guided prayer time led by me for YOU to experience emotional healing prayer (so you can do it with others). A printed guide with specific questions to follow when you practice this kind of prayer with another person.
Module Five:
Tools To Use When the Spirit Prompts
Learn tools to use when the Holy Spirit prompts you, not one-size fits all approaches that make people feel like a project. But we have to practice the tools so we'll be ready because most of us 1).Don't know how to start a spiritual conversation 2). Aren't good at telling a story from the Bible related to everyday life 3).Haven't learned to share our own stories of transformation in an authentic, natural way, and 4)Haven't read the Bible with others as a way to walk someone into the Kingdom.
